Brief Information :-Â FACT Recruitment 2021:Â Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT). announced an online job notification for recruitment to the post of Graduate Apprentices / Technician (Diploma). 179Â vacancies.The educational qualification of the candidates must be Degree (B Tech/BE UGC/AICT/ Diploma/in Engineering / ITI Interested candidates who are all eligible for this recruitment can apply on or before 18 December 2021 The detailed eligibility and selection process are given below.
About FACT:Â The Fertilisers And Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT) was incorporated in the year 1943 as the first large-scale fertilizer plant in India at Udyogamandal, Kochi, Kerala. FACT started production in 1947. Initially in the Private Sector, promoted by M/s.Seshasayee Brothers, FACT became a Public Sector company in 1960 and the Government of India became the major shareholder in 1962. FACT is under the administrative control of the Department of Fertilizers, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India.

Diploma Apprentices:
- A three year Diploma in Engineering in any one of following discipline (State Board of Technical Education recognized regular course) 1. Chemical 2.Computer 3.Civil 4.Electrical 5.Electrical & Electronics 6.Instrumentation 7.Electronics & Instrumentation 8.Instrument Technology 9.Mechanical 10. Commercial Practice.
Eligibility:
- Engineering Degree with an aggregate of minimum 60% marks in qualifying exam for General category and minimum 50% marks for SC/ST in the relevant discipline and should not have completed more than 3 years after passing Degree as on 31.03.2022. BOAT Southern Region Registered KERALA Candidates are only eligible to apply
- Diploma with an aggregate of minimum 60% marks in qualifying exam for General category and minimum 50% marks for SC/ST category in the relevant discipline and should not have completed more than 3 years after passing Diploma as on 31-03-2022. BOAT Southern Region Registered KERALA Candidates are only eligible to apply
Trade Apprentices:
- National Trade Certificate in Fitter, Machinist, Electrician, Plumber, Mechanic
Motor Vehicle, Instrument Mechanic, Painter, Welder (Gas & Electric), Carpenter, Mechanic (Diesel), COPA / Front Office Assistant.
Eligibility:
- 60% marks in the relevant ITI / ITC Trade (NCVT approved); 50% marks for SC/ST. Applicants domiciled in Kerala will be considered
Age Limit :-
Graduate Apprentices:
- Age not more than 23 years for general candidates as on 01-01-2022
- For general candidates with date of birth on or after 02.01.1999.
- For OBC candidates with date of birth on or after 02.01.1996.
- For SC/ST candidates with date of birth on or after 02.01.1994.
Diploma Apprentices:
- Age not more than 23 years for general candidates as on 01-01-2022
- For general candidates with date of birth on or after 02.01.1999.
- For OBC candidates with date of birth on or after 02.01.1996.
- For SC/ST candidates with date of birth on or after 02.01.1994.
Trade Apprentices:
- Age not more than 23 years as on 01.01.2022.
- For general candidates :Date of birth on or after 02.01.1999.
- For OBC candidates (NCL) – Date of birth on or after 02.01.1996.
- For SC/ST candidates: Date of birth on or after 02.01.1994.
Reservation:
- As per rule (Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD)
Salary :-
Graduate Apprentices:
- One Year (Stipend INR.10000/- p.m.)
Diploma Apprentices:
- One Year (Stipend INR.8000/- p.m.)
Trade Apprentices:
- One Year (Stipend INR.7000/- p.m.)

Selection Process For FACT Recruitment 2021 :-
- The merit list for selection will be prepared based on marks obtained in Qualifying Examination 50% marks and Plus Two 50% marks weightage for graduate and 50% marks 10th standard for diploma. In case of tie marks of the immediately preceding qualifying examination will be considered. In the case of further ties, priority will be given for marks obtained in the order of Maths, Physics & Chemistry in 12th standard examination for Graduates candidate and priority will be given for marks obtained in the order of Maths & Science in 10th standard examination for Diploma candidate
